The next conference of the Swiss Archaeology Network (NAS) will take place in Lenzburg on June 12 and 13, 2025.
The annual conference of the Swiss Archaeology Network in 2025 will mark the 50th anniversary of three of its member institutions. The archaeological societies SAM, AGUS and ARS are taking the half-century of their existence as an opportunity to co-organize a conference that brings together archaeologists from all disciplines. The theme of fire is intended to highlight the eminent role of this element in people’s lives throughout the ages. The harnessed force of nature formed the basis for fundamental cultural techniques and innovations – and at the same time a permanent danger.
